About

About Us

We Love Our City is a service-driven, nonprofit outreach of The Father’s House in Vacaville, CA, committed to combating poverty-related injustices at the local level. Their mission begins with addressing immediate needs while creating long-term, sustainable solutions to foster lasting social change.

The organization brings hope and practical support to communities through a diverse range of grassroots outreach initiatives, including the Adopt a Block program (which delivers groceries, waste cleanup, graffiti removal, and children’s activities in underserved neighborhoods), the Mobile Medical Clinic offering health screenings and wellness services, the Mobile Hair Salon providing beauty, self-care, and personal grooming services, and Prison Outreach, which equips formerly incarcerated individuals with life skills through relational support and structured programs like anger management, financial literacy, and reentry coaching.

We Love Our City partners with trusted local organizations—such as The Storehouse food pantry, Boys and Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity, Dream Center, Foster the City, and more—to maximize reach, impact, and community resilience. Their outreach efforts rely on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and collaborative relationships, ensuring that every resource is efficiently channeled to community members in need.

Raymond Beaty

Director

Raymond Beaty is the co-founder and executive director of We Love Our City, The Vacaville Storehouse, and the Prison Church Network. Through these organizations, he helps bring hope and practical support to underserved communities, distributes millions of dollars in food to families each year, and provides restorative justice and faith-based programs to inmates across all 33 California state prisons.

We Love Our City serves neighborhoods through initiatives like mobile medical clinics, food distributions, and Adopt-a-School programs. The Vacaville Storehouse partners with agencies including USDA, FEMA, and Feeding America, empowering more than 100,000 people a month with dignity through a choice-pantry model. The Prison Church Network offers in-person and tablet-based classes such as Financial Peace University, Celebrate Recovery, and Restorative Justice—programs that allow inmates to earn sentence reductions and find support as they transition back into society.
